Lyrics

Newton Highlands

NewtonHighlands that's my home
where the greasers and the plastic people roam,
Newton Highlands, that's my home
And when I'm feelin down
I take a walk across the town
Right over to, Marcus's place
And we all do get, so shit faced, in

Newton Highlands that's my home.

(tune and tempo sort of like John Sebastian's "What a Day for a Daydream")

Written by Gian Caterine
, and I think Joey DiNapoli and possibly Mike Maffee. This song was recorded by them and broadcast in a documentary on WBUR radio in Boston in the late 1960's.

We'd really have to dig for that one. If Joey or Gian don't have it, then possibly WBUR might, but it's not likely.

I remember Mike had a copy that I listened to. It was a whole program about teenage angst.
