Chevy Van

I had this red Chevy G10 customized van from 1974 until 1980. It had Cragar SS wheels, an L4 engine (350 CID) Positraction rear end, had all kinds of suspension mods, and was fully outfitted inside with a red and black shag carpet, button-tuck black Naugahyde upholstery, fake wood paneling, captain's chairs (as was obligatory in the mid 70s) and numerous other niceties. I sold it when it started costing me $20 for a fillup. (posted by Bob Crowley)

John Cate at Iron Horse June 14!

John Cate and the van Gogh Brothers, (maybe?) or as it is listed, the John Cate Band, will be playing at the Iron Horse Music Hall this Saturday June 14. It's an early show that starts about 6pm, so go get an early bird special and head on over to Northampton to see the show.

Here's the link where you can get tix.

Here's a song he may get asked to perform some day.

Sandy Pearlman and Bob Crowley

Sandy on his second visit to the lab to check out some mics. On the right, a prototype Naked Eye Roswellite Ribbon mic that was invented by Bob Crowley and Hugh Tripp, owners of Crowley and Tripp Microphones. This was the only one made with a blue grill and black body, and was presented to Darron Burke of Makeshift Studio for his contribution to the project.
