  1. To all Newtonites pictured here and especially to the authors of this blog;
    Words cannot describe how cool this thing is that you've created! While I did not attend Newton South H.S., I knew almost everyone on these pages and was close friends with many. I've been away and out of touch for a very long time and have just recently begun to find my way back home. I've gotten contact info on some of you so you'll be hearing from me soon. I'm thrilled and amazed at how interesting and cool you all have become and am proud to say that I've known you. I wish I had some period photos to contribute but most of those were destroyed in a fire many years ago. Plus, I don't want to just show up uninvited and crash your party. Please keep the archives rolling and I hope you are all happy and healthy.

    Where on earth did those pics from the Newport Jazz Festival come from. If you have more, Please post them. They're worth a kings ransom!

  2. This will be attempt #4 to post here. I suspect operator error. Here goes.
    To all those on these pages and the authors of this blog; I've been away and out of touch for a long time and thanks to some of the links on this site, I've begun to find my way home again. I've known just about everyone on these pages and have been close friends with many. I'm thrilled at how cool and interesting you all have become. I'm proud to say I've known you. I wish I had some vintage photos to share but the house I shared with Paul Friedlander in Berkley burned to the ground as did most of it's contents but I'll keep searching. Thanks for all your efforts and keep the archives rolling!.
    PS
    Where on earth did those pics from Newport Jazz Festival come from? They're worth their weight in gold!

  3. Jim

    Even though your old pictures are gone ask around and see if anyone you know has some. Also, send a picture of you and we will put it up.

    Thanks!

    put the @ in there. Note that the character after the W is a numeral "one". Just a jpeg will do, it doesn't have to be too large.

  4. The home of the Stanley Steamer. Imagine it took 45 minutes just to warm it up before you could drive it. PK
